Now it has been revealed which cafes are allowed to participate in this year's edition White Guide Café. Previously, nine cafés from Uppland have passed the needle eye - and this year they are joined by no fewer than three cafes from Fjärdhundraland.
It is Forsby kvarn café, Krákvilan bakery and Resta farm who was visited by White Guide's anonymous testers and fulfilled the requirements for "personality, renewal, sustainability and ambience".
We can wait for a couple of weeks for motivations and grades - on May 30, the White Guide Café-Kalaset will be held at Skeppsholmen in Stockholm, then among other things Sweden's best café koras, but also the confectioner of the year, this year's coffee shop, this year's worth a trip, this year's picnic place , This year's Sustainable Café, this year's Star Shot and Bakery of the Year.
Who knows, maybe it will be Resta farm, Kråvilan or Forsby mill that gets that honor?
All three cafes are active in the development of the visiting area Fjärdhundraland, which has developed strongly in recent years with, among other things, a growing number of cafes, farm shops and food crafts.
- I am not surprised that these fantastic cafes now take a place among the best in the country, says Mats Thorburn, chairman of Fjärdhundraland. They have exactly what today's visitors want - a combination of high quality and great personality in a beautiful, exciting environment.
