Litslena kyrka

Litslena church is located at the intersection of Uppsalavägen and old Stockholmsvägen. There have always been a lot of people here, and the church still serves as a roadside church in summer. It is fortunate that it is open so often, as there is much to look at in the medieval church. The altarpiece, made in Lübeck in the 1480s, displays a variety of exquisite little figures that tell the story of Jesus' life. In the vaults you'll see beautiful paintings from the 1470s made by an unknown artist. Albertus Pictor, who painted the neighboring churches in both East and West, obviously had competition!At the western gate of the cemetery wall is a large flat stone.
