Svartbäckens trädgård is a small-scale marketgarden and plantnursery where everything is cultivated on site with the help of solid knowledge and great love for soil and diversity.
It is an exciting nursery specializing in trees and shrubs that produce fruit, berries and nuts, but also perennial vegetables and herbs. Svartbäckens sells, for example, a large selection of apple and pear varieties. Many of the plants are unusual and can be difficult to find elsewhere, such as large-fruited hazel and cider apples.
A small and selected flea market is a fun addition to all the exciting plants. There is also a gallery. This spring's exhibitor is Jessica Faiss, who primarily works with video art.
Vegetables, cut flowers and fruit are also grown for fresh consumption. You who are handy can order loose flowers in buckets to arrange yourself, for example for a wedding.
Svartbäcken's garden also participates in Farmer's own market in Södermalm in Stockholm.
And if you wish for help in your own garden to prune your fruittrees, you are in good hands when you contact Malin. She has pruned fruit trees for many years. She can also help you with other gardening tasks and advice.
