To the exterior a typical upland church - whitewashed and without towers. Inside you should first and foremost look at the fine arches construction in the choir - the medieval builders were real estates!
The church entrance is flanked by two rune stones, U800 and U802. They are erected by a father and a mother mourning their respective sons. On U802 the text reads: Viking had this stone erected after Sm(ed), his son. He was the best of young men. When the church was restored in 1955, U800, which had been used as a threshold stone, was found. It bears the following inscription: Asgard had the stone erected after Myndel, his son.
