Picking sunflowers yourself is both harmonious and fun! Bring your camera and immortalize the sea of flowers.
The flowers have thick stems and need to be cut off so bring secateurs. If you are not going home right away, bring a bucket with some water that the flowers can stand in for so long. After rainy days, the ground becomes muddy so we recommend loose clothing and loose shoes!
Tips to make your flowers last longer:
- cut off the leaves so they don't steal water from the flower
- cut a 'trouser leg' along the bottom of the stem, from the bottom up towards the flower. This helps the flower to drink better.
- change the water from time to time
Parking is available right next to the sunflower field.
