Rock For Fun

Rock For Fun is probably Uppsala’s most versatile cover band. Their repertoire ranges from Cliff Richard, Bob Dylan, and ”60s pop acts like The Beatles, the Spencer Davies Group, and The Doors, to ”70s “classic rock” by Santana, The Eagles, and others, as well as songs by artists such as Joe Bonamassa and Gary Moore. They also play Swedish acts like Wilmer X, Totta Näslund, and Sven-Ingvars—and yes, even a bit of dance band music on the side. Plus, a healthy dose of country rock and Americana.

Part of Rock For Fun’s identity lies precisely in its diversity and eclectic mix of styles, a fact further underscored by the fact that the band has four lead singers. At the same time, the band enjoys putting its own spin on the songs.

Rock For Fun has become very popular at pubs, restaurants, private events, and other venues, and has also completed three summer tours on Gotland, with performances around Visby, Fårösund, and Ljugarn
