Jessica Jowilin knows her way around a coffee shop - she's written several baking and cake books and ran the renowned Café Tant Gredelin for many years. Now we find her delicious baked goods in her family's barn - charmingly and creatively transformed into a welcoming coffee shop. The barn also houses a gallery of arts and crafts and a small shop with new & used items.
Outside there is a large outdoor seating area, so there is plenty of room to enjoy the famous cakes, or perhaps a hearty sandwich or waffles, which are also on the menu.
In the gallery you will find paintings, ceramics and crafts made by the artists themselves. For children, there is an outdoor playground with homemade horses and a cart from the Ronja Rövardotter movie. Jowilin's barn is a place for everyone to enjoy, whatever their age!
Jessica loves her countryside in Trögden and wants more people to enjoy it. She sees the barn as a destination and therefore sometimes organizes theme nights and events.
