Lillkyrka really lives up to its name, it is one of Uppland's smallest churches. Built in the 14th century, it has remained quite similar in appearance ever since.
The interior is characterized by the parish's large farm Eka, where Gustav Vasa's mother was born in the 15th century. The owners of the farm provided the church with gifts over the centuries. Painted coats of arms for the family are in the choir vault and Eka has its own burial choir next to the sacristy.
There are also two 16th century tombstones in the church.
