Aan de voet van \u00c4s\u00e5sen ligt het kleine meer \u00c4s puss. Neem een pauze op de mooie picknickplaats en kijk uit over het open water en de vogels. De lokale geschiedenisvereniging H\u00e4rnevi heeft goed werk verricht door het meer, dat op het punt stond overwoekerd te raken, te restaureren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Het meer is bijna helemaal rond en een tastbare herinnering aan de ijstijd. \u00c4s\u00e5sen is een kiezelrug gevormd door de smeltwaterrivieren van de ijskap. Een ijsberg lag ingebed tussen de afzettingen van de rand en toen het ijs in de nazomer smolt, ontstond er een grote krater gevuld met water: \u00c4s\u00e5sen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Op De Azen<\/a> zijn er geweldige wandelmogelijkheden. Op korte afstand ligt Kwekerij H\u00e4rnevi<\/a>waar de koffieliefhebber zowel ijs als koffie kan vinden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
