God helpe zijn geest.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Bijna duizend jaar geleden besloot Ari, die op de boerderij Ramsj\u00f6 woonde, een runensteen te laten maken ter nagedachtenis aan zijn vader Hj\u00e4lm. Hij gaf het werk aan de runenkunstenaar Erik, die een grote naam had opgebouwd in Fj\u00e4drundaland (Fj\u00e4rdhundraland). Erik is bijvoorbeeld de auteur van een runensteen die naast <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fjardhundraland.se\/nl\/gerechten\/forsby-molen-cafe\/\">Forsby molen<\/a> en in een boerderij iets verder naar het zuiden staan twee dubbele stenen tegenover elkaar.<\/p>\n<p>Deze steen had echter een iets ander leven.<\/p>\n<p>Het heeft lange tijd alleen gestaan, maar waar precies is niet bekend. Ergens in de 17e of 18e eeuw schijnt de toenmalige landeigenaar van boerderij Ramsj\u00f6 het echter verplaatst te hebben naar de binnenplaats naast het grote gele huis dat nu op deze plek staat.<\/p>\n<p>Een van de beste vrienden van Gustav III, George Seton, woonde in de 18e eeuw met zijn zoon Alexander op het Ekolsund kasteel. Op een bepaald moment was Alexander in het gebied rond Morgong\u00e5va en zag hij de runensteen met het grote kruis. De reden is niet duidelijk, maar in 1787 transporteerde Alexander Seton de steen over de Noordzee naar Edinburgh in Schotland. Misschien wilde hij indruk maken op de mensen in het oude land?\u00a0<span style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">De steen staat sindsdien onder de kasteelmuren in Edinburgh en is in de loop der tijd bijna helemaal vergeten. <\/span><\/p>\n<p>De Morgong\u00e5va Viking Vrienden Vereniging vond echter dat de steen in Morgong\u00e5va thuishoorde en huurde hun eigen runenkunstenaar en historisch expert, Kalle Runristare uit Adels\u00f6, in om dit te organiseren. Kalle reisde naar Edinburgh om de steen in detail te bestuderen en eenmaal terug in Zweden bestelde hij een blok graniet van 1,2 ton en begon een exacte replica van de steen te maken.<\/p>\n<p>Met veel pracht en praal werd de steen op 20 september 2014 geplaatst in het kleine park naast de spoorweg in Morgong\u00e5va.
