Met zijn witgekalkte muren is de kerk van Huddunge een typische plattelandskerk in de late Gustavische stijl. De kerk staat in het centrum van Huddungeby en is gebouwd aan het eind van de 18e eeuw.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Er staan al kerken op deze plek sinds de vroege middeleeuwen. Eerst was er een houten kerk, die later werd vervangen door een stenen kerk uit de 14e of 15e eeuw. Deze werd gebruikt tot de 18e eeuw, toen hij werd afgekeurd. Een deel van het meubilair, zoals de preekstoel, kerkbanken en het triomfkruis, werd overgebracht naar de nieuwe kerk, terwijl het oude gebouw werd gesloopt. De fundamenten zijn echter bewaard gebleven als ru\u00efne.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In 1905 werden de gesloten kerkbanken vervangen door de open kerkbanken die nu in de kerk staan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
