Borup G\u00e5rd houdt altijd rekening met de toekomst en werkt daarom met duurzame methoden, zowel voor de dieren, de grond als toekomstige generaties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

De boerderij ligt op een steenworp afstand van de E18 buiten V\u00e4ster\u00e5s en wordt door de familie Magnusson gerund als een kleinschalig familiebedrijf volgens regeneratieve principes. Op dit moment neemt de zesde generatie het roer over. Op de boerderij heb je schapen, graanteelt, paarden en bosbouw.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

De lamsvleespakketten zijn erg populair en kun je bestellen via de website van Borup G\u00e5rd. De bijen van de boerderij maken heerlijke honing en in de herfst is er ook appelmoes van de eigen appels van de boerderij te koop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Als je als consument bij Borup G\u00e5rd winkelt, krijg je producten die met het oog op duurzaamheid zijn gemaakt. De veehouderij is gebaseerd op regeneratieve principes, waarbij je gebruikmaakt van wat er al is. De schapen eten voer dat op de boerderij wordt geproduceerd \u2013 kuilvoer, gras, haver en gerst. In de winter slapen ze lekker op stro uit de eigen akkerbouw van de boerderij. Het enige dat van buitenaf wordt toegevoegd, zijn zoutblokken en mineralen. De mest wordt opgevangen, gecomposteerd en teruggebracht naar de akkers. Zo wordt de kringloop gesloten en draagt dit bij aan een levende bodem met een betere structuur en vruchtbaarheid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Een groot deel van het jaar grazen de schapen in een zonnepark naast de boerderij. Daar houden ze het landschap open, dragen ze bij aan de biodiversiteit en zorgen ze tegelijkertijd voor lokale energieopwekking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Op Borup g\u00e5rd hangt alles met elkaar samen \u2013 dierenwelzijn, landbouw en eten. Hun lamsboxen zijn het resultaat van precies dat werk. Het is lokaal geproduceerd vlees van dieren die een goed leven hebben gehad, opgegroeid in een systeem waarin men probeert meer terug te geven dan men neemt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hier geloven ze in de kracht van kleinschaligheid en lokale productie, en in het verantwoord beheren van land, bos en dieren voor toekomstige generaties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
