De daling in de rivier is lange tijd gebruikt voor de verwerking van ijzer en in de 18e eeuw werd er een ijzerfabriek gevestigd.<\/p>\n<p>Het Upplandsleden-pad loopt langs Ytterkvarn en er is een rustplaats met een picknicktafel gemaakt van een oude molensteen.
