De parochie \u00c4ngs\u00f6 bestaat uit het hoofdeiland \u00c4ngs\u00f6 en nog eens 22 eilanden en 222 eilandjes en scheren in het M\u00e4larmeer. De hele parochie is natuurreservaat.<\/a> Er is prachtige natuur met een ouderwets landschap met oude monumenten, weilanden, oude wegen en boerderijen. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Engs\u00f6 hembygdsf\u00f6rening beschermt de bijzondere natuur en cultuur en werkt aan het behoud van kennis over het dorp en zijn tradities. Tijdens de zomermaanden is de vereniging in het weekend geopend in het plaatselijke historische museum Magasinet, waar een tentoonstelling te zien is over het leven in \u00c4ngs\u00f6 in het verleden. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

De vereniging organiseert meifeesten en midzomerfeesten in het park bij kasteel Engs\u00f6. Andere programma-evenementen zijn zang- en meezingavonden, torpedorondes en zomerconcerten. Ze publiceren ook Het tijdschrift Weidezoom<\/em> met \u00e9\u00e9n uitgave per jaar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
