Voor Mats Flodin zijn creativiteit en hergebruik de hoofdingredi\u00ebnten wanneer hij zijn tijdloze meubels ontwerpt en bouwt onder het motto Ontwerp voor de mindful<\/em>. Hij gelooft dat een goed ontwerp een combinatie is van vorm en functie, waarbij het resultaat onze zintuigen moet aanspreken. De kleine details zijn belangrijker dan de grote aantrekkingskracht.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hij gebruikt vaak hoogwaardig, oeroud hout in de nieuw gemaakte meubels, waardoor ze de fijne patina van de ouderdom krijgen en verhalen van het verleden naar het heden cre\u00ebren. Mats kiest hout op basis van geschiktheid en gevoel - berken voor lichte, onbehandelde meubels die een hard oppervlak nodig hebben, eiken voor meubels die gewicht uitstralen, terwijl grenen wordt gebruikt voor meer klassiek Zweeds design. Voor zijn modernere, iets speelsere meubels met een industri\u00eble look gebruikt hij berkenmultiplex.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Wood Shop heeft tafels, banken en dressoirs, maar ook kleinere artikelen zoals lampen en snijplanken. Als je iets mist in het assortiment, maakt Mats ook veel op bestelling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
