Zestig paar voeten die weglopen van de gladde stenen helling vormen een raadselachtig onderdeel van het rotstekeningen in Stora Rickeby. Zijn het de voetafdrukken van een god die zo heilig is dat hij niet kan worden afgebeeld? Of zijn het de sporen van mensen en goden die, zij aan zij, de vaste steen verlaten voor een ander bestaan? Er zijn veel theorie\u00ebn over het wereldbeeld van de Bronstijd, maar geen definitieve antwoorden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Een andere merkwaardige afbeelding is een zeer diep uitgesneden beeld in de vorm van een kledingstuk. Het is waarschijnlijk keer op keer uitgesneden als onderdeel van een ritueel, maar waarom? Dat is de vraag.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stora Rickebyh\u00e4llen ligt direct aan de weg en is zeer toegankelijk. Er is een bezoekershelling zodat zelfs rolstoelgebruikers het houtsnijwerk kunnen bekijken.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
