De weg tussen de kerk van Nys\u00e4tra en de kerk van Torstuna is een weg waar mensen sinds de oudheid hebben gereisd. Ooit woonden hier Amunde en \u00d6dg\u00e4rd, die \u201ddeze steen lieten oprichten naar Anund, zijn zoon, en een brug maakten\u201d. Het is de runensteen U 839, die langs de weg staat bij Ryda kungsg\u00e5rd, op een paar honderd meter van \u00d6rsunda\u00e5n, de belangrijkste waterweg in de Vikingtijd. De brug die Amunde en \u00d6dg\u00e4rd bouwden bestaat niet meer - maar hun runensteen houdt de herinnering aan Anund levend. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Iets verderop langs de weg staat nog een steen, U839, met de inscriptie \u201dTwaalf (?) en Torfast lieten ze de steen oprichten naar Torbj\u00f6rn, hun goede vader. Hier zal de steen bij de weg staan. En Gill\u00f6g liet het gedenkteken naar haar man maken.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
