Lia en Tommy plantten de eerste boom in Solkulla Matskog in de herfst van 2019. Het kwam voort uit een verlangen om de woestijn groen te maken, maar eindigde met graven waar ze staan, in Kulla buiten \u00d6rsundsbro. Een verwaarloosd veld wordt omgetoverd tot een bos met voedsel. Onder de bomen met fruit, bessen en noten groeien struiken, klimplanten en vaste planten, die eetbaar voedsel bieden voor mensen en bestuivers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Solkulla Matskog is een belevingstuin waar je een andere manier van werken met planten kunt zien. Met zo min mogelijk arbeid wordt de tuin van jaar tot jaar aangelegd op basis van de eigen vormentaal van de planten. Materialen die anderen weggooien worden gebruikt om het klimaat niet te belasten met nieuwe aankopen. Hout van afgebroken schuren, schroot en natuurlijk lokaal geproduceerde spullen prikkelen de verbeelding en creativiteit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In de bloembedden naast het huis mengen eetbare planten zich met bloemen en druiven. Er zijn zandbedden en heuvelbedden voor keukenplanten en wilde delen voor diversiteit. Een kas zorgt voor een langer groeiseizoen. Het microklimaatpotentieel van het perceel wordt benut voor meer warmtegevoelige bomen, zoals walnoot, eetbare kastanje, perzik, kweepeer, minikivi en moerbei.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lia Star\u00e4lv is permacultuurontwerper. Ze kan je helpen om op een mooie, duurzame en diverse manier voedsel te produceren op de plek waar je woont. Op basis van de omstandigheden van jou, je plek en de buurt wordt de vegetatie zo ontworpen dat het een geheel wordt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lia geeft ook workshops en dagtochten met outdoor cooking en outdoor activiteiten. Ze heeft negen jaar ervaring in vegetarisch koken in een restaurant en je zult ge\u00efnspireerd raken! Samen oogsten jullie rechtstreeks van het land en cre\u00ebren jullie een meergangenmenu met veel verschillende smaken.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Het Solkulla voedselbos wordt gekweekt volgens de principes van permacultuur.
