Upplandsleden - nice hike near Stockholm, Uppsala and V\u00e4ster\u00e5s.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Upplandsleden<\/strong> is the hiking trail that stretches across large parts of Uppland. In Fj\u00e4rdhundraland there are some really nice stages, and you can walk from M\u00e4laren in the south to F\u00e4rnebofj\u00e4rden in the north, to Uppsala and north, to Skokloster and Knivsta in the east. Along the way we recommend caf\u00e9s, farm shops and accommodation!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here you tread historic ground, just like the people of the Viking Age, who walked dry-shod on the ridges towards Enk\u00f6ping and Lake M\u00e4laren. The Upplandsleden routes through Fj\u00e4rdhundraland offer varied hiking through the agricultural landscape, through nature reserves and forests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When you want to hike the Upplandsleden, a tip is to take the bus to a suitable end point and hike back. This works well, for example, with bus Enk\u00f6ping-Veckholm or bus B\u00e5lsta-Skokloster and hike back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
