Welcome to Tuva & T\u00e4ppa 2021<\/strong> <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Sunday 4 July at 11\u201317 <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tuva & T\u00e4ppa is a garden tour in the country between Stockholm, Uppsala, V\u00e4ster\u00e5s, Sala and Enk\u00f6ping. This year's Tuva & T\u00e4ppa is attended by 16 participants - nurseries, growers and private gardens. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

At nurseries and growers, you get both inspiration and the opportunity to buy plants to take home. Unlike the big chains, you shop here directly from the gardeners, and much is grown directly at the nursery, not imported. You also get good advice on the purchase - take the opportunity to ask about the plants you buy and they will get a better start in the soil when you get home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Private gardens are the pride of enthusiasts - gardens that are like works of art that reflect the visions and personalities of their owners. Here, too, the people behind the work are on site and can tell about their creations. You take the best ideas home with you!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Tuva & T\u00e4ppa is largely an outdoor event, so it can be held this year as well. In each place there is information about what measures the organizer has taken with Corona \/ Covid-19 in mind. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Pepparrotsstadens Tr\u00e4dg\u00e5rd & Hantverk, small garden and craft store located in Enk\u00f6ping's oldest neighborhood. On the river promenade<\/strong> -When the hands are working, the soul gets a holiday\u2013 Small idea garden created by Horseradish City's garden profiles Lena M\u00e5nsson and Elisabet Lind. An idea garden where the interest in garden and crafts work together, the result is a cozy little oasis with flowering perennials, birdbaths, sofas and handicrafts in the form of ceramics, concrete and chainsaw art.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    8. Ramsj\u00f6 - Garden - Flavors - Beautiful things<\/a><\/strong> (Red 4)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    With a strong focus on sustainability and recycling, Ramsj\u00f6 offers a cultural-historical, natural and tranquil environment where our visitors' minds can be filled with inspiration for gardens, flavors and beautiful things. Here you can shop, have coffee and relax in our old stable environment on Ramsj\u00f6 farm, dating from 1870.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    9. Resta farm<\/a><\/strong> (Red 19)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

     Classic farmhouse with own production of dairy products, meat and charcuterie but also has one of the few organic apple orchards in Uppland with the so-called sandwich method on weak-growing trunks and is building a park designed by the newly graduated landscape architect in the family. Also has kitchen plant cultivation with different cultivation methods such as cover cultivation, dormer beds and traditional outdoor cultivation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Historic geranium garden, old-fashioned Swedish geranium collection, potato field and apple hedge and more. In the spring, environmentally friendly cut tulips in the open. Everything is grown organically in a cycle here on the croft that is our home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    11. Solkulla Matskog<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The first tree in Solkulla Matskog was planted in the spring of 2019 at our Torp. We want to inspire how to benefit the environment, nature and man in harmony, and with perennial plants get very edible early and late in the year. The English name is Food Forest, in Sweden it is often called `Forest Garden.\u00b4 It is important in a Food Forest to get the optimal environment under the ground and place the plants so that they thrive in relation to each other and the position they will grow in. Guided tours at 11:30, 13:30 & 15:30. You can also roam freely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Serving:<\/strong> Fully herbal soup with gluten-free bread, cakes, hot and cold drinks outdoors (and indoors if corona restrictions allow at the time.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Sale: <\/strong>Some perennial edible plants we picked up ourselves. Vegetables, flower bouquets and fermented products from "Tim Garden" a local grower.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Garden tourism in Enk\u00f6ping, Guided tours in Enk\u00f6ping's parks. Elisabet Lind takes you on a guided tour to Dr\u00f6mparken and out on \u00c5promenaden. There we visit all 18 idea gardens that different creators have created. Among them, we get to see and experience Tr\u00e4dg\u00e5rdsm\u00e4starstudenternas Id\u00e9tr\u00e4dg\u00e5rdar, which this year is called "Well-being in the green" Start at 11.00 at Pepparrotsstadens Tr\u00e4dg\u00e5rd & Hantverk. About 1 hour. Fee: SEK 100 \/ person. We follow the Corona Restrictions that apply, with the number of people who may gather at this time.     At Gamla Skolg\u00e5rden near T\u00e4rna church, you are greeted by beautiful cultural-historical buildings from the 18th and 19th centuries. Here you can visit primary school teacher Reutervall's school garden from 1870 with kitchen garden, rose garden and orchard, which was recreated in 2020. We grow both new varieties, cultural heritage varieties and older local varieties that have been harvested at farms and crofts. Guided tour for an hour and a half. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
