1. Skokloster Castle <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

What happens in the fall when darkness descends on a 350-year-old baroque castle? What are the footsteps that are said to echo through the empty floors? During the autumn holidays, it will be atmospheric, cozy and sometimes a little eerie when the castle is open with activities for the whole family. Information about tours and opening hours can be found at Skokloster Castle website<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Open churches and candle sales in Lagunda parish<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Caf\u00e9 Kyrkstugan<\/a> is open in the Old Church School in Nys\u00e4tra Friday October 31 11.00-16.00, Saturday November 1 and Sunday November 2 10.30-16.30. Here you can enjoy good pastries or something more substantial from the menu, warm yourself by the crackling fire inside the lounge or just sit down and talk for a while. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Around Fj\u00e4rdhundraland there are many opportunities to take a lovely fall walk. A lovely ending is a refreshing lunch or a cup of coffee with pastry at The green of the shadow<\/a>. In their shop you can find both delicacies and crafts. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    4. Hj\u00e4lstaviken Nature Reserve and Ekolsund Castle<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    A long footbridge runs through the reeds<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
    \"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

    The nature reserve Hj\u00e4lstaviken<\/a> is one of Sweden's finest bird lakes. Here you can see birds all year round, with peaks in the migration periods during spring and fall. The shallow and reed-rich lake attracts lots of birds, as many as 265 species have been observed at the lake. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Adjacent to the nature reserve is the ancient Ekolsunds slott & w\u00e4rdshus<\/a>. A coffee break in the castle caf\u00e9 or lunch in Ekolsund's farmhouse is a perfect ending after a visit to the nature reserve. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Make an exciting experience this Halloween time and visit Trolltrappan in Torstuna<\/a>. In the middle of the forest in Torstuna, north of Enk\u00f6ping, the trolls have built a staircase through the mountain. At least that's what it looks like.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Trolltrappan, \u201dThe Trolls' staircase\", is, from a scientific point of view, a diabase passage that has partly weathered out and formed a gorge in the 4\u20135 meter high slope. For the visitor, it is a short, fun climb up or down the narrow stairs, which amuses both big and small.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
