At the end of September, it's time for Food &amp; People - the big harvest festival. There's every opportunity to taste Fj\u00e4rdhundraland and meet the people behind the food<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n<style>.gb-69d540cea94b9{font-size: 18px;}@media only screen and (max-width: 1200px) {.gb-69d540cea94b9{font-size: 18px!important;}}@media only screen and (max-width: 600px) {.gb-69d540cea94b9{font-size: 18px!important;}}<\/style>\n<p class=\"gb-69d540cea94b9 has-normal-font-size\">Text &amp; photo: Ann-Helen Meyer von Bremen<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>We will return to Food &amp; People in 2023.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Pulled lamb with honey yogurt<\/strong>, freshly baked waffles with jam, Great-grandmother's sauerkraut soup, a buffet of crispy biscuits, Toast the Forest with smoked game meat, vegetable steaks, gray pea hummus and much more are on the menu for this year's edition of Food &amp; People. In total, almost 30 farms, caf\u00e9s, food artisans and restaurants took part.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>In each location<\/strong> visitors could buy a small appetizer for just SEK 40 and taste some of the food grown, raised, processed and served in Fj\u00e4rdhundraland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u00c5sa Eriksson from Stockholm<\/strong> is one of the thousands of visitors. For several years, she has made a September trip to visit the event. The first time it was mainly to visit some friends who had moved to Fj\u00e4rdhundraland, but the visit was rewarding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>- Then I discovered how many interesting places there are in Fj\u00e4rdhundraland that I didn't know about at all. You can get recipes and cooking tips, advice on how best to smoke your meat, brew your tea or make the most of the harvest in the form of souring, drying and pickling.  There will be tours of Reuterwall's school garden from 1870 and of Landsberga's farm mill, but also of crops, wetlands, animals and landscapes. The menu of all participants' tasting plates will be released a few weeks before the event, so you can either plan your route according to the dishes you're craving, or you can take it as it comes. Either way, it's sure to be delicious and enjoyable!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Food &amp; People is a Saturday at the end of September every year.
