The wooden benches are hard, so a break is needed in the middle of the movie - a perfect time for refreshments from the small kiosk outside. The cinema may be old, but what is shown is current-day quality films that guarantee you a nice bio experience in the summer evening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The cinema was opened in 1925 by Edvard Johansson who ran a carpentry in the same house. Films were shown until 1961 \u2013 then the competition from TV became too steep. The cinema descended into a long sleep that only ended in the late 1980s when the association <em>Gamla Bion i \u00d6rsundsbro<\/em> began restoring the premises. Nowadays, the cinema and the carpentry serve as a living museum with guided tours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-jetpack-tiled-gallery aligncenter is-style-rectangular\"><div class=\"\"><div
