Hacksta church is small and sits quite alone in the field landscape. It has a simple, unassuming exterior, while its uneven walls have something ancient about them. The church consists of a nave and a narrower chancel. The roof is covered with tarred shingles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Construction of the church began at the end of the 13th century, while the porch was added about two hundred years later.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Around the chancel window there is a decorative drapery painting from the end of the 17th century. Between the walls of the church, you can see heavy-duty iron drawstrings. They were also installed in the 17th century to prevent the church from falling down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
