If you want to experience how tasty and fine chicken can taste, then Hagby G\u00e5rdsf\u00e5gel can be an interesting alternative. Here, chickens are allowed to grow at a natural pace with free access to move in and out. The result is a big juicy chicken that is appreciated by both chefs and consumers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Just outside Enk\u00f6ping is Hagby Farm, which has been raising small-scale birds since 2002. Jenny Lundgren and her husband Sven-\u00c5ke have a clear vision for their business, and that is to guarantee quality and ethics from start to finish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The slower growth and the natural environment result in meat that has time to develop a good fat content and a more developed flavor. A taste experience for those who appreciate a high quality raw material. With more time to grow, the birds also get bigger - Hagby Farm's roosters can weigh up to four kilos, while the chickens are usually 2-2.5 kilos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to farm-raised chicken, duck, goose and turkey are available in season. There is also a range of processed chicken products such as cheesy chicken burgers and different types of sausages. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hagby Farm's products can be bought directly at the farm or in selected grocery stores in M\u00e4lardalen. At Brobergs mat you can order Hagby farm bird products, and likewise at various REKO rings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
