Bogl\u00f6sa church began to be built in the early Middle Ages, in the 12th to 13th centuries. In the 14th century the church was made longer and in the 15th century the wooden roof was replaced with a brick vault. A wall runs around the cemetery, the same as in the Middle Ages. The roof is covered with wood shavings, and the porch has medieval attic panels with carved decorations of plant ornaments and dragon heads. Take a closer look, it's not often that the old medieval wooden details are still there!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you enter the church, you can see, among other things, an altar cabinet made in 1470 for one of the choirs in Storkyrkan in Stockholm. After only ten years, however, it was sold to Bogl\u00f6sa Church, where more than 500 years later it is still the church's most important treasure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
