\u00c4ngs\u00f6 parish consists of the main island of \u00c4ngs\u00f6 and a further 22 islands and 222 islets and skerries in Lake M\u00e4laren. The whole parish is nature reserve.<\/a> There is beautiful nature with an old-fashioned landscape with ancient monuments, pastures, old roads and crofts. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Engs\u00f6 hembygdsf\u00f6rening protects the special nature and culture and works to preserve knowledge about the village and its traditions. During the summer, the association has weekend openings in its hometown museum Magasinet, where you can see an exhibition showing life on \u00c4ngs\u00f6 in the past. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The association organizes May Day celebrations and Midsummer celebrations in the park at Engs\u00f6 Castle. Other program events include song and sing-along evenings, torpedo rounds and summer concerts. They also publish The meadowsweet warehouse<\/em> which comes with one issue per year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
