Do you know Johan Petter Johansson? Even if you don't ring a bell, it's almost certain that at some point you have held his most famous invention in your hand: the wrench! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

JP Johansson was a creative problem solver who invented everything from large pipe wrenches to small sugar tongs and the Triplex work light. He patented more than 110 inventions and started Enk\u00f6pings Mekaniska Verkstad, which later became Bahco. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the Bahco Museum you can learn more about the activities, products and development of JP Johansson and the Bahco companies. There is a variety of tools and ventilation products. JP was the first in Scandinavia to develop ventilation to remedy bad air in forges. The first unit is in the museum. He was a very versatile person, in 1891 he designed the locomotive house at Landsberga G\u00e5rd. A copy of the architectural drawing is on display in the museum. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The museum is run by the JP Johansson Society, which wants to spread information about JP Johansson and bring to life the memory of his actions, which played an important role in Enk\u00f6ping's transformation from a small rural town to an industrial city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
