After moving to the countryside, Mona H\u00e4gerstr\u00f6m began to long for practical work. So she took a course in beekeeping and became fascinated by bees and their important work for pollination and ultimately for our food supply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mona acquired her own bees in the summer of 2021 and now has a bee farm with a small number of hives. She pours honey several times during July and August to be able to offer honey from different parts of the season. The taste of the honey varies depending on where the bees have collected nectar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mona also makes beeswax cloths - a great substitute for plastic wrap - and wheat pillows filled with KRAV-grown grain and beeswax candles. She also sells beeswax for those who want to make their own ointments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mona sells her honey and other products mainly at local markets, but you can also come and buy directly from the farm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
