The melon penguin is a recurring figure in Karin Gillberg's work. It's her own fantasy animal that you'll find in many forms in her small shop -Konstboden. There are original watercolor paintings and metal sculptures, but also printed mugs, pillow cases, postcards and more. Karin's world is imaginative where the cinnamon bun is transformed into a rose and the dandelion into a macaron.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Karin is an artist and illustrator and a common thread in her work is animals, often depicted in a humorous way that tells a little story. She has exhibited her art since 2013, including at Galleri Puckeln in Stockholm and Ekstr\u00f6ms konst in V\u00e4ster\u00e5s. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
