Here Amunde and \u00d6dg\u00e4rd once lived, who \"had this stone erected after Anund, their son, and made a bridge\". This is the rune stone U 839, which stands by the roadside near Ryda kungsg\u00e5rd, a few hundred metres from \u00d6rsunda\u00e5n, which was the main waterway in Viking times. The bridge Amunde and \u00d6dg\u00e4rd built no longer exists - but their rune stone keeps the memory of the lost son Anund alive. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A little further along the road stands another stone, U839, with the carving \"Tolv(?) and Torfast they had the stone erected after Torbj\u00f6rn, their good father. Here the stone will stand by the road. And Gill\u00f6g had the memorial made for her husband.\"<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-jetpack-tiled-gallery aligncenter is-style-rectangular\"><div class=\"\"><div
