In \u00d6rsunda\u00e5n's beautiful river valley, just outside Fj\u00e4rdhundra, lies Forsby. In one of the village's old mills, Ibba Andersson and Staffan Larson run a cafe and restaurant with high quality ambitions and great personality. You can sit outside by the mill pond and listen to the sound of the rapids, or in the quiet indoors in \u00d6fre Kaffesalongen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Saturdays and Sundays, Ibba fills the old Forsby Bakery's stand with delicious pies, tarts, lemon buns, brownies, shortbread cakes with fillings and other goodies. If you want something more substantial, choose \"Sovel med br\u00f6d\", which is Staffan's lighter, but very sophisticated, dishes; such as home-engraved salmon with pea pesto and green salad, or country pate with pickled red onion and pickled cucumber. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you are a large group (i.e. more than 8 people) on a bicycle, moped, motorcycle or car, Ibba & Staffan want you to notify at least one week in advance to 0703-79 80 99<\/a> so that they can provide the best service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the spring of 2026 until June, there is Friday pizza between 17-21. For that, you book a table (max 8 people \/ company) with a text message to Ibba's mobile: 070 370 80 99. After midsummer, it will be \u201dFood on the mill\u201d on Friday evenings when their son Albin returns from London where he has worked as a chef for the past 6 years, with his pop-up restaurant where he offers a menu of 3-4 dishes prepared on, as far as possible, local ingredients in season.
