The Fj\u00e4rdhundraland trail is our cycle route<\/strong> through the core of our area. The first stage, at 38 km, goes between Fj\u00e4rdhundra and \u00d6rsundsbro, on nice roads with good opportunities for breaks for coffee break, detours or a dip. You also have close proximity to several other destinations in Fj\u00e4rdhundraland, so that you can use the trail as a base for your own route.<\/p>\n

The trail is mostly on asphalt, but also has a few kilometers on lightly cycled dirt road. If you want 100% asphalt there is one alternative route here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

A bike route near Uppsala, Stockholm, Sala and V\u00e4ster\u00e5s<\/h2>\n

The trail starts and ends at a bus stop. You can bring your bike on board<\/a> on the buses subject to location - bus 804 to \u00d6rsundsbro and 225 to Fj\u00e4rdhundra.<\/p>\n

From Uppsala\u00a0<\/strong>you can cycle "C55" on the old embankment to \u00d6rsundsbro\u00a0<\/strong>or choose your own road in the countryside east of road 55, for example via Wik's castle.<\/p>\n

From V\u00e4ster\u00e5s<\/strong> you can take the road via Tortuna towards K\u00e4rsta \/ Bred and follow the signs towards Fj\u00e4rdhundra just after Sag\u00e5n.<\/p>\n

From Stockholm<\/strong> you can take the bike on the commuter train<\/a> towards B\u00e5lsta and take the small roads via Hj\u00e4lsta to \u00d6rsundsbro<\/a> 25 km. If you want a longer ride there are nice roads from Kungs\u00e4ngen.<\/p>\n
