In the heart of Upplands-Bro, something very special is sprouting - a lavender plantation with more than 3,000 plants that not only adorn the landscape with their lovely scent and color, but also contribute to a richer ecosystem. Lavender is a flower that is loved by bees and butterflies, and thus plays an important role in the pollination of fruit trees and vegetables. It is nature's own gift to both the garden and the soul.
Behind the cultivation is Anne, who with gentle hands and a big heart has created a place where beauty, sustainability and creativity meet. For her, lavender is more than just a plant - it's an experience for the eyes, the soul and the sense of smell.
In a renovated carport, Anne now offers unique workshops where visitors can create with their hands: tie their own lavender wreath, shape beautiful oat and barley wreaths, or make poppies from crepe paper. It's a place where craft and nature meet, where every participant can feel the joy of creation and peace.
In addition to lavender, Anne works as a job coach for people with disabilities - a job she loves. “My participants, or rather my colleagues, inspire me every day. Creating together is healing, empowering and meaningful,” she says.
With her cultivation and workshops, Anne wants to offer something unique in the Stockholm area - a place where people can meet, create and feel the power of nature. It is an initiative that flourishes far beyond the lavender fields.
