With wonderful views of the lake and direct access to the water, wonderfully relaxed days are guaranteed all year round when you stay at Lilla Hotellet Ekolsund. The owners Edith and Peter love to be hosts and take care of their guests in the best way. Next to that, their great passion is growing vegetables and cooking good food! If you are curious about their products, you can buy them in the shop Svö Deli, located at the same address as Lilla Hotellet.
Lilla Hotellet is 40 square meters and has room for two people. Here you can enjoy the tranquility of the countryside, while it is only about 45 minutes to Stockholm, Uppsala, Västerås and Arlanda.
On the ground floor of the charming red cottage, there is a living room with a cozy fireplace and a fully equipped kitchen where you can cook your own meals. Firing up the stove raises the coziness factor several notches, especially during the colder months. Edith and Peter have made sure that guests can enjoy themselves in a variety of ways - there are board games, books in several languages and puzzles in the cottage. For those who want to discover the surroundings, there are brochures and maps for various excursions.
The upper floor is accessed via a ladder, where there is a sleeping loft with space for two beds. These can be placed separately or together depending on your preference. Due to the ladder, Lilla Hotellet is not recommended for families with small children. Guests aged 12 and over are warmly welcome.
Adjacent to the bathroom is a Finnish wood-fired sauna - a luxurious experience for those seeking relaxation. Lilla Hotellet has a large terrace, surrounded by a lush garden. Here you will find a dining table, sun loungers, a Weber grill and other nice touches. The day gets off to a perfect start when you enjoy your morning coffee overlooking the sparkling Lake Mälaren.
Lake Mälaren, with a shared jetty, is right next to the house. There are also bicycles, SUPs and kayaks that can be used to explore the surroundings.
