PREP is a course on how to communicate better in a couple relationship and is given through Sensus Studieförbund. The course provides you and your partner with concrete tools to make it easier to cope with life together and also involves personal development. The course is not therapy or crisis management, but a review and training of a number of simple methods that can help you as a couple to develop and thrive together.
You do all the exercises with your partner and do not have to share anything with the other participants.
Main themes of the course:
- Learn how to manage conflicts safely
- Open the doors for proximity
- Start with yourself and your own responsibility
- Harnessing and developing the positive in the relationship
- Nurture the security and long-term nature of the relationship.
PREP is based on more than 30 years of relationship research, mainly in the United States (and is religiously and politically independent).
Award: The course costs SEK 2,595 per person. This includes a course book, vegetarian soup lunch, morning and afternoon coffee both days.
Overnight stay: Possibility of overnight stay at Herresta Lada is available for four couples. Then there is an extra charge of 495 SEK per person in a double room with your own sheets and towel. The price includes breakfast. Dinner you can choose to cook yourself in the common, fully equipped kitchen, or you can eat at a restaurant in, for example, Sigtuna (1 mile away).
