Autumn market at Wik Castle

On Sunday, September 22, 2024 between 11 am and 4 pm, we welcome you all to Wik's annual fall market!

A day filled with exciting activities for both young and old. During the day you can take a guided tour of one of Sweden's best preserved medieval castles, shop for locally grown delicacies and self-produced delicacies and crafts from our many exhibitors, try pony riding and meet Wik's own bat Tor!

Wik's restaurant is open for those who want something to eat and drink.

There are also several food carts in the area offering food experiences from many corners of the world.

At the autumn market you have the opportunity to meet pomologists from the Swedish Pomological Society who will help you find out which apple variety grows in your particular garden free of charge.

At least 5 well-developed apples of each variety are needed to make an assessment.

The apple sorting takes place in the roundabout in front of the castle between 11 and 16.

Coming by car? Parking is available about 2 km from the market area. Parking costs SEK 60 and is paid via Swish.

Follow signs and parking attendants' instructions.

Transfer buses run at regular intervals during the day between Wik Castle and the parking lot.

The first bus leaves at 10.45 from the parking lot and the last bus goes back to the parking lot at 16.30 from Wik Castle.

The market area has free admission.

Parking costs SEK 60.
