The library comes to the cowshed
Sunday, July 5, 3 pm-5pm, Sunnansjö Gård
Follow Friends of the library in Järlåsa for an excursion to Sunnansjö farm at Strandsjön. Here we meet the authors and moonlight farmers Gunnar Rundgren and Ann-Helen Meyer von Bremen who recently published the book The planet of the cows. There will be talks about the book, the library tells about its activities and of course the opportunity to meet some of the book's four-legged protagonists - the cows. Coffee is available for purchase.
The planet of the cows is a book that describes in depth what the cow has meant to humanity and at the same time describes the authors' observations about their own cows. The authors Gunnar Rundgren and Ann-Helen Meyer von Bremen on Sunnansjö farm say that the cow is an important companion for building a more sustainable world, but then her versatility must be utilized.
Welcome to Sunnansjö
