The best way to experience spring is in the countryside near the city. That's the firm opinion of Fjärdhundraland's many members. Because close to nature, in a rolling cultural landscape with farm shops, pottery workshops and cafés, you can hear the birds singing in spring even better, and you can smell the spicy scent of the earth coming to life.
There's a lot going on in Fjärdhundraland in the run-up to and during Easter. Here you'll see a selection of everything from markets, cafes and farm shops that are open during the Easter weekend. You'll also get tips on other fun things to do here in beautiful Fjärdhundraland.

Easter at Ekbolanda farm
If you want to start Easter in a rural setting, we can recommend Ekbolanda Farm, where it is difficult to choose from all the fine pastries. For the hungry, they offer hamburgers. The shop sells eggs, sweets, cheese, must, marmalade and other goodies associated with Easter.
Easter egg hunt and the Easter Bunny at Djurby
On Good Friday, April 3, there is a good chance that young and old can catch a glimpse of the Easter Bunny at Djurby Farm outside Örsundsbro. There will be an Easter egg hunt and a fishing pond, and to satisfy your hunger there will be a pancake buffet and sausages with bread. Of course, there is also Easter coffee.

Art and coffee in Jowilin's barn
At Jowilin's truck you'll find everything you want in one place: arts, crafts, delicious baked goods and divine sandwiches. For those with a spring in their step and a child's mind, there are lovely areas to play, and for extra entertainment, there is an entertaining Easter quiz. Easter in Skyttstennäs in Järlåsa
On Easter Eve and Easter Sunday, April 4 and 5, a lot happens in Shuttlecock. Browse local exhibitors, enjoy great food and find unique crafts - perfect for a great spring outing! Several Fjärdhundraland members will be present on these days: Lilla Bageriet in Balsbo, SilverbyLenaB and Lillbruket.
Carpentry Skilled Hard Working Woman
All glorious Easter, Eva Gustafsson from Hard Working Woman Open. In her cozy little farm shop, which is right next to my carpentry workshop, you can squeeze and feel Eva's carpentry and sit down for a while in her self-made garden furniture. Most things are ready to buy directly, but the furniture is made to order. The farm shop is packed with garden ornaments, tools and utensils, sheepskin, blacksmithing, home decorations and much more. Watching migratory birds in Hjälstaviken
The nature reserve Hjälstaviken is buzzing with life in spring. Here you can enjoy sweeping views and watch thousands of migratory birds returning from around the world. A signposted hiking trail and various observation towers create good conditions for seeing nature up close.

Skogsbackens Osts own farm shop has open every day 8-20. During Easter, there is a cheese tasting and children are invited to eat sweets.
