The pleasant café in the old barn at Salnecke Castle is focusing more and more on food and drink. Of course, they still serve good homemade coffee, but it is for the well-prepared food that many guests return. Not least, the fish stew has become a favorite.
The restaurateurs Moa and Peter continue to develop both the menu and the business. At Salnecke Slottscafé and Bistro you can celebrate anniversaries and birthdays, have a staff party and not least a wedding dinner. In fact, they have their very own civil wedding officiant! Sometimes they organize a concert, pub night or AW. Full rights make for a wide range of options.
Right next to the restaurant is beautiful Salnecke Castle and below you look out over the Örsundaån, which just to the east flows into Lårstaviken and Lake Mälaren.
You can reach Salnecke Slottscafé and Bistro not only by car but also by bus. Or why not take a walk on the the old embankment from Orsundsbro, or ride a bike from Uppsala?

Fish stew, Smashed Burger, Soup of the day with butter and bread, Bistron's own smoked salmon salad with dill mayonnaise and fried almond potatoes, Shrimp sandwich and a temporary dish based on seasonal availability.
