Fat Tuesday, Shrove Tuesday, Holiday Day - of course such an important day has many names!
I bake classic semlor with buns made from organic flour and milk, local eggs and plenty of freshly ground cardamom. For the filling, I use homemade almond paste made from whole almonds, raw sugar and sea salt, which I mix with a little sour cream and cream - just like my grandmother did.
Because I am convinced that semlor should be eaten freshly made, I fill and spray them just before you arrive. Therefore, please order in advance via text message to 070-2537126. Do not forget to specify the name, number and time you want them. But of course it is possible to drop by spontaneously and wait a while while I make your semlor.
Except on Fat Tuesday, I make semlor on Fridays from 12 noon.
If you don't want almond paste, you can get jam from Ånäbbens Sylt as a filling.
