Welcome to Blänkebo gård - a rural accommodation close to most things, including Enköping, Sweden's nearest town. Your host is Anna Smedberg, who with many years of experience receives guests in two carefully renovated cottages from the 19th century, adapted to meet today's comfort and standards.
The farm is located about five kilometers from Ekolsund Castle, known for its popular castle café and various events throughout the year. Adjacent to the castle is Hjälsta nature reserve, a popular destination for birdwatchers all year round. Enköping is less than 15 minutes away by car.
During the summer, Blänkebo farm offers generous outdoor areas with plenty of space for playing, running and resting. Here you can start the day with a cup of coffee in the garden and step straight out into the green. Even in winter, the cottages are inviting, with underfloor heating that gives a comfortable and cozy feeling. Both cottages have fireplaces - one with a wood-burning stove in the kitchen, the other with a fireplace in the living room.
Over the years, Blänkebo Farm has welcomed guests who have chosen to stay here for a variety of reasons: to discover Fjärdhundraland, as temporary accommodation while working in the area, or as an overnight stay before an early departure from Arlanda. Groups of friends often choose to stay in the cozy cabins to spend quality time together, but people who are attending dog shows nearby also stay here. Pets are therefore of course welcome! Did you know that you can also bring your horse?
Whatever the reason, a stay here offers a moment of relaxation and peace in the countryside.
