Workshop: sewing wrap skirt

Welcome to Altunagården on June 28 to sew a wrap skirt!
Time: 10.00-15.00
Food: Bring what you want to eat during the day, there is a fridge and microwave. Coffee and tea will be provided.
Price: SEK 450, payable by swish to 123 301 27 39.

You need to take with you:
- Textile to sew the skirt: Feel free to bring reused textiles such as curtains, sheets, shirts and the like. It is possible to combine different textiles, but it is good if they are about the same thickness (and not too thick, then the skirt will not be so flexible).
Fabric allowance: 200 cm length x 150 cm width should be plenty!
The tie (if you make it) should be 250 cm long but it can be spliced together.
- Sewing thread in the color you need
- Sewing machine
- Cloth scissors
- Measuring tape
- Pencil (thin tip) to draw on fabric: you don't really need a special one but don't take one that "bleeds" a lot.
- Splitters: always good to have 🙂
- Lapel pins
- Buttons: if you don't want ties, buttons are an alternative.
- Extra sewing machine needles: this is also always a good thing to have - of course, only if you bring your own sewing machine.

This is in place:
- Sewing machine to borrow if you don't have one yourself but then you may have to share
- Ironing board
- Irons
- Rulers
- Small stock of fabrics
