Die wei\u00df verputzte Kirche wurde um 1300 erbaut, sieht aber nicht ganz so aus wie die meisten anderen mittelalterlichen Kirchen in Uppland, denn Mitte des 18. Jahrhunderts <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fjardhundraland.se\/en\/places\/gora\/albertus-pictor-kyrkor\/\">Albertus Pictor<\/a> die B\u00f6gen und W\u00e4nde der Kirche mit Gem\u00e4lden. In den historisierenden 1890er Jahren wurden die Gem\u00e4lde restauriert und mit gro\u00dfer Sorgfalt gemalt, um sie \u201dechter\u201d aussehen zu lassen.
