Der Altarstein liegt direkt neben dem die Kirche in Altuna<\/a> - einer der interessantesten Runensteine Schwedens. Der Stein wurde zum Gedenken an einen Vater und einen Bruder errichtet, die verbrannt wurden, aber es sind die spannenden Schnitzereien, die den Stein so besonders machen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Auf dem Stein ist eine Illustration der wikingerzeitlichen Geschichte \"Thors Fang\" zu sehen, in der der Gott Thor die Midgardschlange selbst an den Haken nimmt. Thor zieht so stark, dass sein Fu\u00df den Boden des Bootes durchst\u00f6\u00dft. Diese Geschichte war in der nordischen Welt weithin bekannt. Zweihundert Jahre sp\u00e4ter wurde sie von dem Isl\u00e4nder Snorre aufgeschrieben. Das ist eine starke m\u00fcndliche Tradition!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00dcber Thor befindet sich ein Reiter auf einem Pferd. Vielleicht ist es der Gott Odin auf Sleipner. Der Reiter ist das Modell f\u00fcr das Fj\u00e4rdhundraland-Logo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
