Die Linnaeus-Kammer ist ein Reiseziel im Kleinformat - es gibt so viel zu entdecken! Unter einem Dach finden sich verschiedene Unternehmen in einer einladenden und harmonischen Umgebung zusammen. Caf\u00e9, Feinkostladen, Inneneinrichtung und Galerie sind im historischen Herrenhaus von Vallhov untergebracht, etwas mehr als eine Meile n\u00f6rdlich von Uppsala. Die gro\u00dfz\u00fcgigen Rasenfl\u00e4chen und die \u00fcppigen B\u00e4ume schaffen einen friedlichen Ort, der sowohl zu Ausfl\u00fcgen als auch zur Entspannung einl\u00e4dt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Im Laden finden Sie eine inspirierende Mischung aus Kunsthandwerk und Einrichtungsgegenst\u00e4nden: Wolldecken, Keramik, Kleidung, Schreibwaren, B\u00fccher und eine gem\u00fctliche Kinderecke f\u00fcr die Kleinsten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Das Caf\u00e9 serviert leichte Mittagsgerichte und hausgemachten Kaffee. Es gibt sowohl im Erdgeschoss als auch im Obergeschoss gem\u00fctliche Sitz- und Sofaecken, und in den Sommermonaten k\u00f6nnen Sie Ihr Mittagessen oder Ihren Kaffee drau\u00dfen im Gr\u00fcnen genie\u00dfen. Regelm\u00e4\u00dfig werden Strickcaf\u00e9s und Konzerte organisiert, die auf der Website der Linnaeus-Kammer angek\u00fcndigt werden. Griechenland ist in den Aromen pr\u00e4sent - die Speisekarte kombiniert schwedischen hausgemachten Kaffee und Sandwiches mit Produkten wie eingelegten Feigen und Salaten mit Fetak\u00e4se. Das Roggenbrot ist biologisch und wird von einer lokalen B\u00e4ckerei gebacken, und das beliebte Gyros wird regelm\u00e4\u00dfig im Freien gegrillt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wenn Sie die griechischen Aromen mit nach Hause nehmen m\u00f6chten, gibt es Linn\u00e9's Chamber Deli. Unter dem Namen Vasilis und Sigrid Mathantverk verkaufen sie kaltgepresstes, natives Oliven\u00f6l extra aus ungespritzten Oliven, die auf dem eigenen Land der Familie auf Kreta angebaut werden. Au\u00dferdem gibt es Marmeladen, K\u00e4se, griechische Pistazien, echten Feta-K\u00e4se, Sanddornprodukte, Essig, Honig, Tee und Gew\u00fcrze. Sie k\u00f6nnen auch Avocados und Zitrusfr\u00fcchte direkt auf Kreta bestellen - Buchungen werden \u00fcber Facebook und Instagram vorgenommen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Im selben Geb\u00e4ude befindet sich die Galerie Vallhov, in der von Fr\u00fchjahr bis Herbst wechselnde Ausstellungen stattfinden. Hier werden Werke sowohl etablierter K\u00fcnstler als auch von Hobbyk\u00fcnstlern gezeigt, vor allem Gem\u00e4lde und Aquarelle, aber auch Fotografie, Bildhauerei und Keramiken. Die aktuellen Ausstellungen werden auf der Website der Linnaeuskammer vorgestellt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Auch der Name Linnaeus' Kammer hat eine Geschichte. Carl Linnaeus besuchte mit seinen Studenten oft die Gegend um Jumkil und wohnte auf dem Gutshof Vallhov. Das Zimmer, das er als Arbeitszimmer nutzte, wird immer noch mit ihm in Verbindung gebracht, und es hei\u00dft, dass sich hinter der Tapete im Obergeschoss noch handgeschriebene Herbarbl\u00e4tter aus Linnaeus' Zeit verbergen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
