Die \u00e4ltesten Teile der Tillinge-Kirche stammen aus dem 13. Jahrhundert, wurden jedoch mehrfach umgebaut. Das heutige Aussehen der Kirche ist gr\u00f6\u00dftenteils das Ergebnis eines Umbaus in der Mitte des 18. Der vergoldete Hahn auf dem Kirchturm spielt eine wichtige Rolle in dem Roman \u201dTorntuppen\u201d des Arbeitsschriftstellers Jan Frideg\u00e5rd <\/em>(1897-1968).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zwischen den beiden Toren an der Westseite des Turms steht ein Runenstein. Die Runenschleife ist teilweise zerst\u00f6rt, da der Stein lange Zeit als Grundstein der Kirche diente. Der Stein wurde in den 1940er Jahren entfernt und an seinem heutigen Platz aufgestellt. Die Runenlinie besagt, dass der Stein zum Gedenken an Gudmund errichtet wurde, der in S\u00e4rkland gestorben war. S\u00e4rkland war die Bezeichnung der Nordl\u00e4nder f\u00fcr ein Gebiet am Kaspischen Meer, das vom Kalifen von Bagdad beherrscht wurde. Vifast (lie\u00df) diesen Stein nach Gudmund, seinem Bruder, errichten. Er wurde in S\u00e4rkland get\u00f6tet. Gott helfe seinem Geist.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Am Fu\u00df des Runensteins befindet sich ein Grabstein. Grabsteine sind runde, verzierte Steine, die vor allem im 5. Jahrhundert in der Mitte von Gr\u00e4bern aufgestellt wurden. Sie finden sich in der Regel auf Frauengr\u00e4bern und hatten vermutlich eine besondere rituelle Bedeutung.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
