Nachdem sie aufs Land gezogen war, sehnte sich Mona H\u00e4gerstr\u00f6m nach praktischer Arbeit. So belegte sie einen Kurs in Imkerei und war fasziniert von den Bienen und ihrer wichtigen Arbeit f\u00fcr die Best\u00e4ubung und letztlich f\u00fcr unsere Lebensmittelversorgung.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mona hat im Sommer 2021 ihre eigenen Bienen erworben und betreibt nun eine Imkerei mit einer kleinen Anzahl von Bienenst\u00f6cken. Sie schleudert mehrmals im Juli und August Honig, um Honig aus verschiedenen Teilen der Saison anzubieten. Der Geschmack des Honigs variiert je nachdem, wo die Bienen Nektar gesammelt haben.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mona stellt auch Bienenwachst\u00fccher her - ein gro\u00dfartiger Ersatz f\u00fcr Frischhaltefolie - und Weizenkissen, gef\u00fcllt mit Getreide aus dem KRAV-Anbau, sowie Bienenwachskerzen. Sie verkauft auch Bienenwachs an diejenigen, die ihre eigenen Salben herstellen wollen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mona verkauft ihren Honig und andere Produkte haupts\u00e4chlich auf lokalen M\u00e4rkten, aber es ist auch m\u00f6glich, direkt auf dem Hof zu kaufen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00d6stersta Honung schleudert mehrmals im Sommer, denn der Honig schmeckt unterschiedlich, je nachdem, von welchen Bl\u00fcten die Bienen Nektar gesammelt haben.
