Vielleicht erkennen Sie ihn, denn das Original befindet sich heute im Historischen Museum in Stockholm, w\u00e4hrend eine Kopie in H\u00e4ggeby zu sehen ist. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Der Stein besteht aus rotem Sandstein und wurde lange Zeit als Bodenstein in der Kirche verwendet. In den 1870er Jahren wurde er entfernt und an das Historische Museum verkauft. Die Kopie aus dem Jahr 1953 steht heute auf dem Kirchhof zwischen der Vorhalle und dem Turm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Der Stein stammt aus der Zeit um 400-500 n. Chr. und zeigt auf der einen Seite ein schlankes Schiff, das von zw\u00f6lf Ruderern angetrieben wird. Auf der anderen Seite ist ein Hengst zu sehen, der geritten wird. Pferdek\u00e4mpfe waren in pr\u00e4historischer Zeit ein beliebter Bestandteil gro\u00dfer Versammlungen und Feste. Das Wetten war sicherlich ein wesentlicher Bestandteil des Vergn\u00fcgens. Die Hengste wurden angestachelt, ihre Aggressionen gegeneinander zu richten, so dass es zu einem blutigen Kampf kam, der oft t\u00f6dlich endete.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die Umgebung der Kirche von H\u00e4ggeby erinnert an Bullerbyn. Einen Steinwurf von der Kirche entfernt befindet sich die alte kleine Schule, die heute das Schulmuseum des \u00f6rtlichen Gemeindeverbands ist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-jetpack-tiled-gallery
