Die Landhebung hat die Landschaft n\u00f6rdlich des M\u00e4larsees v\u00f6llig ver\u00e4ndert. In der Bronzezeit, vor etwa 3000 Jahren, war das heutige Ackerland weitgehend von Wasser bedeckt, und h\u00f6her gelegenes Land erhob sich als kleine Inseln. Es war eine Sch\u00e4renlandschaft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die Menschen der Bronzezeit ritzten unz\u00e4hlige Bilder und Symbole in die flachen Felsen in Wassern\u00e4he. Heute liegen diese Aufschl\u00fcsse weit im Landesinneren, aber sie sind immer noch so faszinierend anzusehen, wie sie es f\u00fcr die vielen Generationen gewesen sein m\u00fcssen, die sie eingeritzt haben. Manche Figuren sind f\u00fcr uns v\u00f6llig unverst\u00e4ndlich, andere sind selbstverst\u00e4ndlich.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Das Brennholzschiff ist ein vier Meter langes Boot mit sechs Ruderern und Stangen, die mit Tierk\u00f6pfen mit gro\u00dfen Ohren geschm\u00fcckt sind. Das ganze Boot wird von einer menschlichen Figur getragen, die unter seinem Gewicht kniet. Damals wurde das Bildnis in die Wasserkante, den heutigen Bootssteg, eingemei\u00dfelt, so dass man die Schnitzerei aus demselben Winkel betrachten kann, als s\u00e4\u00dfe man in einem Boot auf dem Wasser.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ein etwa zehnmin\u00fctiger Waldspaziergang f\u00fchrt Sie zu den Felszeichnungen. Es gibt Leute, die sagen, dass dies einer der sch\u00f6nsten W\u00e4lder in Uppland ist, also ein Ausflug mit vielen H\u00f6hepunkten!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
